The RMT 1205-PS series of computers are built specifically to meet the needs of police, security, EMS and fire applications.
The RMT 1205-PS packs a powerful computer and 1000NIT+ sunlight viewable display in a one piece compact rugged design. 100% display dimming and instant screen blanking are controlled by a rotational knob on the side of the RMT 1205-PS. The 800x600 SVGA display features wide, 120° viewing angle allowing for flush mounting and clearance of airbag deployment zones. The resistive touch screen interface can be activated by a gloved finger, bare finger, pen or any other pointing device making the RMT 1205-PS the perfect choice in extreme climates.
Multi-component computer systems are obsolete with the advent of the RMT 1205-PS one-piece design. The ultra thin, precision milled aluminum housing limits intrusion into valuable cabin space and eliminates modifications of the dash or seating area. CPU, display, power supply and connection ports are all integrated in the single unit. Installation and troubleshooting are significantly simplified because multiple components and cables are not required throughout the vehicle.
The RMT 1205-PS is powered by leading industry processors and components. With multiple options for RAM, HDD, processors, keyboard and radio connectivity, the RMT 1205-PS can be configured to your exact needs. The placement and functionality of the user controls have been integrated to meet the needs of public safety. Best of all, our computers are upgradeable, allowing you to stay current with technology and increase the return on your investment.
Built into every computer are useful features like removable hard drives, screen blanking, wide-range voltage input, over voltage protection, over temperature protection, humidity protection and more.
